The Terrain Command dial in the all-new MU-X allows you to shift between 2WD and 4WD Hi mode on the move (up to 100km/h) for improved traction when driving conditions change.
LED Headlights & Tail Lights
The MU-X is equipped with powerful and durable LED headlights for excellent visibility under all conditions. These are combined with LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) for added safety whilst out on the open road.
Alloy Wheels

Multi Information Display (MID)
The new smart Multi Information Display (MID) includes a digital speedometer, safety information, fuel economy and range, odometer, trip information, and a service reminder. This information is conveyed via a new advanced colour TFT display.
Dual Zone Climate Control Air Conditioning
The climate control air-conditioning on the all-new MU-X now includes dual-zone functionality enabling both front seat passengers to be able to select their own desired temperature. Back-seat passengers benefit from rear air vents for added air circulation.
Side Steps
Durable alloy side steps provide excellent ease of entry and exit into the all-new MU-X. These are finished in silver for a dynamic look.
7 Spacious Seats
The all-new MU-X has 3 rows of seating to give a total of 7 seats. The front seats are bucket whiplash protected seats with electric adjustment and a heating feature for the LS-T those chilly mornings. The split-fold rear seats feature a foldable centre armrest and 2 USB ports. Double sealed doors and an excess of soundproofing makes the MU-X a peaceful and relaxing ride.
3.5 T Braked Towing Capacity
Your search for the perfect travelling companion is over. The MU-X can seat up to 7 people, and tow up to 3,500kg. Isuzu’s legendary 3-litre turbo diesel engine delivers high torque across the range, making light work of a caravan, boat, or trailer. Trailer Sway Control (TSC) assists with towing in high winds or on uneven surfaces.
Ultimate Storage Capacity
The all-new MU-X has cup holders in all 3 rows, storage for tissues, a 12v 120-watt power socket and 3 USB ports in total. The upper center console storage, under steering wheel storage, deep door pockets, and seatback pockets provide storage solutions for those easily misplaced but much-needed items. Still need more space? Fold-down the rear seats, or make use of the roof rails which come as standard on the all-new MU-X.
5-Star ANCAP Safety Rating
8 Airbags: dual front, curtain, side, driver’s knee and far side airbags. Every MU-X comes with Isuzu’s Intelligent Driver Assistance System (IDAS# ) built-in to protect and enhance the driving experience.
Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)
Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) detects vehicles or objects approaching in the rear and alerts the driver while reversing the car.
Pre-Crash Safety Features
Forward Collision Warning (FCW) warns the driver if front collision is likely to occur, with Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) automatically stopping the car if there is no drivers' intervention.
Turn Assist (TA) automatically brakes the vehicle if another vehicle is detected coming towards you while turning.
Mis-acceleration Mitigation (MAM) automatically cuts off the engine when the accelerator is mistakenly engaged.
Speed Assist Features
Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go (ACC) will automatically adapt your speed to the same level with the vehicle in front, with Stop and Go function allowing automatic complete stop and continue.
Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) provides helpful information on MID display when passing various traffic signs, and works with Intelligent Speed Limiter (ISL) which allows the driver to easily set the cruising speed based on the signs.
Lane Assist Features
Lane Departure Warning (LDW) alerts the driver when the vehicle appears to be crossing lanes unintentionally.
Lane Departure Prevention (LDP) assists the force on the steering wheel to pull the vehicle back into its lane.
Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS) works with Adaptive Cruise Control to help keep the vehicle in the middle of the lane while driving.
Emergency Lane Keeping (ELK) assists the force on the steering wheel to pull the vehicle back into its lane when there's an attempted lane change while another vehicle approaches from behind in the adjacent lane.
Driver Monitoring (DM) alerts the driver to take a rest when signs of fatigue are detected.
