Braintree x Gary Cockram Partnership

Gary Cockram is proud to announce our recent partnership with Christchurch's own Braintree, a Wellness Centre for Brain Health.

The Braintree project supports those living with neurological conditions such as Parkinson's, Dementia, Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, and more. Braintree's purpose is to support those living with neurological conditions in their homes and communities, helping them to continue living a life full of potential. 

The BrainTree Wellness Centre is currently being established in Ōtautahi-Christchurch, supporting Cantabrians living with a neurological condition by encouraging them and their whānāu to live well.

Braintree will provide practical, everyday, community-based
support to help people understand how to live with their condition, how best to manage it, and will provide a safe space to connect with others.

There is now significant data to show that a total wellness approach - covering exercise, diet, cognitive stimulation, education, and social connection - has a hugely positive impact on the lives of people living with a neurological condition. Medical specialists can prescribe medication to alleviate disease symptoms, but lifestyle changes can also make a significant difference to how a person can live with their conditions. Braintree helps people discover that there is still a lot of life to be lived after a diagnosis, and enables them to live lives full of purpose and meaning.

Gary Cockram is proud to support Braintree, and has gifted them two vehicles - the all-new Hyundai Venue and the 2019 Hyundai iMax.

The two shareholders, Multiple Sclerosis & Parkinson’s Canterbury and Dementia Canterbury, as well as all of the other neurological charities who plan to base themselves at the Braintree Centre will share the benefits of the new vehicles, which will be used for picking people up and dropping them off; daytime outings; and supporting the field workers.

Gary Cockram is always proud to support the local community, and are excited to be part of such an important project in the Canterbury area. We look forward to supporting Braintree, as they in turn provide support for those affected by neurological conditions.
